Satin Dalmatians

My sister got my father a Dalmatian for father's day when I was 12-13. Sparky bonded immediately to me instead of dad and was my dog for years. I even entered him in a match a couple of times. There where only two Dals entered, and he always lost, but I was so thrilled to get that best of opposite ribbon! I got my first show Dal in 1990 from Joan Lester of Dymondee. Tristan became Ch Dymondee’s Knightnwite Satin without much trouble, and went on to be a decent special, once climbing to #7 nationwide novice owner handled. I got Tia from Lisa Ramos in Louisiana. She earned her Championship and Obedience title with ease and became my foundation bitch. |

My dogs’ first commitment is to be couch warmers, after that they do mostly conformation. I do obedience as well, and have had a great deal of fun with that. I’d love to do agility, but it’s not available in my area yet. I’m tinkering with tracking as well. |

I currently mostly enjoy Jester's retirement years with him on the couch. I have a couple of nice class bitches and a new baby boy from Fiacre kennel in Nevada. Jolie is in training for her CDX, and Kim is in training for her CD. A breeding with Kim is planned for 2003, but a sire has yet to be determined. I concentrate on health, temperament and movement in my breeding. I don’t have litters often, and must make the best of each one. I do all health clearances. Puppies are occasionally available. Puppy referral is always available at my website, www.geocities.com/jesterdog. |
