I’ve been owned by Dalmatians for over 9 years. I purchased my first show dog from Jena Zafiratos and was immediately hooked. My sweet liver and white boy grew into a Multi-Champion and the light of my life. I needed a family hobby after my divorce to fill in the weekends and provide focus in my life. Little did I know that it would take over my life and be the center of my social activities. I started out in Conformation with Pablo (Am/Can/Mex/Am’s99/WW99 CH Cimarron Moonshine Whiskey Am/Can CD,RD,OA, NAJ,CPC,CGC). |
| While waiting for him to mature and grow up we tried our hand at Obedience. When I saw my first Road Trial I thought that Pablo and I could do that. We did a year later. I then purchased Georgia from Jena in 1993. Georgia is BISS CH Cimarron Peachblossom Honey OA, OAJ. When Georgia was young she didn’t like to show. I finished her Championship early and tried my hand at obedience. I’ve never seen a more stubborn dog. We moved on to agility, a new sport which all the dogs seemed to love and the whelping box. Georgia’s seasons and motherhood have slowed her agility career somewhat. I brought her back into the conformation ring after her first litter and she did some nice winning. At DCA 99’ she won an Award of Merit at 6 years old. Twelve weeks after her second litter she was back in the veterans ring and won BISS at the Greater Denver Dalmatian Club’s Regional Specialty. | |

| Misha (Cimarron Mountain Spirit NA,
OAJ) is a son out of Georgia’s first litter. He is being trained in Agility and Obedience. A gentle sole who wants to please. Misha’s brother Banjo (CH Cimarron Mountain Music) lives in the south with his junior handler, Brad. Brad plays in Conformation, Agility and Obedience. Brandy (Cimarron
Brandywyne) is the new kid on the block. She was born May 26, 2000 sired by Pablo out of Georgia. Conformation is our first order of business but Agility is a strong second. Brandy’s brother Leo, (Cimarron Loco Cocoa) lives with a co-owner and has tried his hand at Obedience. I get to show this beautiful boy to his Championship in Conformation. My most memorable moment was at the World Dog Show in Mexico City, June 1999. Pablo and I competed in the Championship Class. He took Best of Breed and went into the group ring and took third place. What a thrill, standing on the platform with the crowd cheering. Pablo is a once in a lifetime dog. |
